3 Auto Enhancements You Should Consider

We all have our good days, and unfortunately, our bad ones. Sometimes life throws surprises at us that we aren’t prepared for, especially on the road. We would like to point out three optional auto insurance coverages which can be added to your policy that will help make your bad days a bit better:

  1. Roadside Assistance. This is one of the most common enhancements purchased by drivers. It ensures that you won’t be left stranded due to a disablement. Our coverage includes towing*, tire changes, emergency fluid delivery, dead battery jump start, lockout service, minor mechanical first aid and concierge services.
  2. Auto Loan/Lease Coverage. This coverage is perfect for those who have recently purchased a brand new vehicle with a vehicle loan, it is a variant of GAP insurance. This coverage is only available for vehicles purchased new with no prior owner on the title. Our auto loan/lease coverage is designed to cover the gap between what you owe on your car and its actual cash value in the event of a total loss.
  3. Trip Interruption Coverage. This enhancement is great for those who travel frequently. If you happen to get into an accident while traveling away from home or suffer a severe disablement, this coverage will help pay for unexpected transportation, meals and necessary lodging. It helps you pay for the extra expenses needed to reach your travel destination or return home.

You never know what life is going to throw at you, so why not be prepared? There are several options available beyond your basic auto liability insurance coverage that provide additional protection and peace of mind.

*Roadside Assistance is subject to certain limitations. See your policy declarations for more details.

Many of these enhancement-type coverages have their own endorsement form and must be purchased separately. Ask your local RMIC Agent about our enhancements today!
