ROCKFORD MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY DONATES $2,920 ALONG WITH ITEMS NEEDED TO THE ROCKFORD RESCUE MISSION

Rockford Mutual Insurance Company (RMIC) recently raised $2,920 for the Rockford Rescue Mission (RRM), the region’s primary provider of assistance to the homeless, near-homeless, addicted and working poor in the Rock River Valley. Their services are designed to serve physical, emotional, spiritual and relational needs by empowering people to move from despair and hopelessness to hope and life-change.

In addition to the monetary donation, RMIC associates collected hundreds of items the RRM most desperately needs this holiday season. From winter gear, to disinfecting spray, to hand warmers and more. Associates worked together to supply the RRM with a wide array of items.

“I am very pleased with the outcome of this year’s holiday drive” stated Lisa Ireton, Director of Human Resources for RMIC, “everyone coming together to make a difference is such a rewarding feeling from an people perspective. This certainly is a group of giving individuals!”
