DINA JOHNSON, CONTROLLER, RETIRES FROM ROCKFORD MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY

ROCKFORD, Illinois – Forty-five years ago, Dina Johnson joined Rockford Mutual Insurance Company (RMIC) with a B.S. degree from the University of San Carlos in Accountancy. Throughout her years with RMIC, she became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the Chartered Global Management Accountant groups. 

Dina has been responsible for accounting of all investment activities, ceded reinsurance reporting, loss reserve reporting and analysis, and cash management in her role as Controller. Dina’s peers note her willingness to share both her knowledge and expertise with them on a daily basis, displaying all of RMIC’s core values fully and truly.

Dina retired from RMIC on March 31, 2021 as our March Associate of the Month. She has worked tirelessly over the years, even on nights and weekends, to ensure deadlines were met. She's always been willing to share her knowledge and expertise with her peers and has displayed all of RMIC's core values over the years. She will be pursuing new adventures and a long bucket list in her retirement. Rockford Mutual is very thankful to have had Dina on our team for 45 years and she will be greatly missed.
