As Rockford Mutual Insurance Company continued to prosper and grow, the company needed more space to expand.

In 1979, a seven acre tract was purchased at East State and Perryville Road for a 30,000 square foot office building, triple the size of the Jefferson Street office.

The new building accommodated Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, Public Relations, Accounting, Data-Processing, and Company Services offices as well as reception and meeting areas.
