Robert C. Denman made a motion that Rockford District Mutual Tornado Insurance Company change to a class two and class three writing company.

Later that year, voters approved the merger of Rockford District Mutual Tornado Insurance Company and the newly created Rockford Mutual Insurance Company.

Rockford Mutual Insurance Company was officially considered a multiple line company.
