ROCKFORD MUTUAL INSURANCE COMPANY ACTIVATES RESPONSE PLAN FOR CORONAVIRUS

With the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the U.S., Rockford Mutual has developed a response plan that will help maintain business continuity and decrease the risk of exposure to our associates, customers, and the communities we live in, whose health and safety are our primary concern.

We would like to take this time to reassure our agents, policyholders, and the Rockford community that we are continuing to do business and are committed to serving you in your time of need as we navigate through the inconvenience of the COVID-19 virus.

  • Internally, we are committed to providing our associates with plenty of soap, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes when available.
  • In accordance with the CDC recommendation of social distancing, we are suspending all face-to-face contact and business visits conducted by our field associates.
  • Associates have been asked to self-report travel. Self-isolation/working from home may be required upon return as deemed necessary by our Human Resources Team.

"Our industry is known for being resilient throughout any crisis we are faced with," said Kent Shantz, President and CEO of Rockford Mutual. "We are taking the necessary precautions to keep people safe and healthy during these unusual times. RMIC is actively monitoring this evolving situation and utilizing resources such as the Centers for Disease Control. As recommendations change, Rockford Mutual will reevaluate our policies and plans."
